Welcome back to Clara's Menu!
By now, you've spent a few weeks filling your freezer with homemade meals, and this week you'll begin seeing the rewards. Instead of cooking every dinner from scratch, we'll enjoy a couple of meals we've already prepared while adding a few new freezer-friendly favorites for the weeks ahead.
This is the beginning of Clara's Freezer System—a simple way to save time, reduce grocery costs, prevent food waste, and always have a wholesome homemade meal ready when life gets busy.
From now on, you'll notice a special Clara's Freezer Note on selected recipes. These are meals made with your future self in mind.
Before You Shop
Before making your grocery list:
Check your refrigerator and pantry.
Pull one Chicken & Vegetable Rice Casserole from the freezer to thaw for Tuesday.
Pull one Black Bean & Sweet Potato Taco Bowl from the freezer to thaw for Friday.
Check fresh produce and use anything that needs to be eaten first.
Keep a running grocery list throughout the week.

A little preparation today makes the week much easier.
Cook a batch of brown rice.
Wash and chop lettuce, peppers, onions, carrots, broccoli, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Prepare homemade hummus.

Clara's Tip of the Week
One of the best ways to save money isn't just clipping more coupons—it's making sure the food you buy actually gets eaten.
By freezing a few extra portions each week and planning to use them in future menus, you're creating a kitchen that works for you. You'll spend less time cooking, waste less food, and always have a homemade meal ready for those busy or tiring days.
Little by little, meal by meal, your freezer becomes one of the hardest-working tools in your kitchen.
Happy cooking, and I'll see you next week for another simple, healthy, and budget-friendly menu!
